Terms and Conditions

So that you can fully enjoy your Spa Day:

  • Ensure you complete your online medical form before your arrival. Please note that some treatments may have to change due to certain medical conditions.

  • Please ensure you arrive 30 minutes before your first treatment, so that you can have a tour of our facilities.

  • All Spa Days include complimentary hire of 1 x Bath Robe and 1 x Bath Towel.

  • To make our club as environmentally sustainable as possible we do not provide disposable flip flops, so please kindly bring your own suitable footwear.

  • We also recommend for your comfort that you bring two swimsuits with you on the day if you are having treatments with us.

Weekday usage: Full Day: 9am - 5pm Half Day: 10am - 2pm (morning session) OR 1pm - 5pm (afternoon session)

Weekend usage: Full Day Use; 9am - 5.30pm Half Day Use; 9am - 2.30pm (morning session) OR 12pm - 5.30pm (afternoon session)

Food and Drink at the Spa:

We have a lovely Spa Café where you can enjoy a beverage and a slice of cake. If you would like to order Afternoon Tea or Light Lunch then please ensure you call the team on 01787 279009 or email them at enquiries@thegainsborough.co.uk with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to arrival, so they can order this for you. Do also let them know in advance of your Spa Day if you have any known allergens or dietary requirements.

Only food and drink purchased in our Spa Café can be consumed within The Gainsborough Health Club & Spa, Suffolk.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be made via email to enquiries@thegainsborough.co.uk

In the event that an Incorrect Booking is made with The Gainsborough Health Club and Spa (Suffolk) the following cancelation charges / amendments will also apply.

Cancellations must be received no later than 7 days prior to the arrival date to be considered. If you have made your Spa Day booking with in the 7 day time frame then a refund will not be possible if you cancel. The Company will apply the following charges for cancellations / amendments:

  • Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: Full loss of payment per person
  • Cancellation between 7 and 30 days of arrival date: 50% loss of payment per person
  • Cancellation of more than 30 days before arrival date: £10 Administration Fee will be charged per person.
  • Alterations to bookings within 10 days of arrival: £5 Administration Fee will be charged per person
  • Non arrival without notice: Full loss of payment per person
  • Cancellation of additional treatments within 48 hours: 50% of cost of treatment per person will be charged

Food cancellation policy - Please be aware if you cancel for any reason within 48 hours of your appointment and you ordered food, you will be charged in full due to the food is supplied by outside contractors, thank you for your co-operation.
